What is Food for fines?
Food for Fines is an event where the library forgives outstanding fees for late items when they are returned with a food donation. Late items returned between October 14-31 will not be charged late fees - no matter how long ago the item was checked out. The library asks that anyone taking part in this program to donate a non-perishable or canned (pop-top, please) item along with the returned item.
Wait, so I can have all of fines and fees waived?
No, this offer only applies to late items that are returned between October 14-31. Fees from lost or damaged items will not be waived.
Where Can I Bring Back My Items?
Simply return your overdue items along with your donation item(s) to any library location and we’ll do the rest!
Please see a library staff member at any of our LOCATIONS to have all of your questions answered.
